Cholesterol esters

A highly versatile mixture of esters characterised by a combination of branched chain fatty acids, cholesterol and related sterols that resemble the lipids contained in the outer layer of the epidermis. It improves hydration, repairs and nourishes the skin. This ingredient is compatible with the skin, penetrates the outer layer of the epidermis and helps maintain skin barrier function.
